If Only I Had the Courage to Tell You If flowers were to speak, I'd give you all My unsaid thoughts in ribbon-wrapped bouquet. A softer tone, and though the gesture small, I think you'd like this method anyway. The talking may be loud, though on purpose It is not; thoughts have a way of being Heard without reason or bringing service. I hope their volume is not deafening. When all is said and done, flowers laid at The doorstep to your home, I hope you won't Think of me too cowardly, or hear that I have hated you when honestly I don't I have loved you all my life; that fact will                                                    

Asylum Walls Down the musky halls we walk, the nurse holding my wrist as I stumble to keep up with her pace. I hear the voices of other inmates, shrill and confused.   What reason are they here? Who cast them into this pit, where their cries are heard but never soothed? Where treatments are cruel, reason thrown out the window in the name of “good intentions?”   The doors open to reveal a room full of doctors, and the nurse releases me. I wander down the wall with my hand against the stones and she goes to fetch my “cure”. With dull eyes, I look tiredly upon each doctor, but I do not see them
